To whom it may concern.

Catalyst Theatre Company engaged the services of Craig MacGregor to design advertising for our February 2010 production TWACAS (The West Auckland Cardigan Appreciation Society). The brief was for a DLE double sided flier and a poster image that could be printed in varying sizes as required for our marketing campaign.

At every stage of the process we found Craig to be extremely communicative and open to changes in the concept and execution. He presented an early concept idea which was creatively strong, aligned well with the style of the play and achievable within the company's budgetary constraints. Craig worked quickly to provide this concept enabling us to move ahead with engaging a photographer and sourcing costumes and locations for the photo shoot's required.

After completing the photography we presented Craig with the photo's which he assembled into a outline of the image in a prompt fashion. We were able to view it and feedback changes and additions we felt were productive. Craig kept in communication with us at all stages of the process and actively sought criticism and feedback as the images developed. He was always quick to respond to feedback and offered many creative solutions to help maximize the impact of both the flier and poster.

After the project was completed Craig was still available to support us with his expertise. We needed another sponsor logo attached to the DLE and were under the gun as the image was meant to go to print the next day. After contacting Craig he made the changes and the DLE was ready for print later that evening.

I would recommend Craig's services to anyone needing work of this nature done. He was professional, easy to deal with, fast, highly competent and contributed not only technical expertise but valuable creative input into the development of our marketing images.

Craig MacGregor has developed a new website for Waitakere Alpacas as a project for Media Design School. We are impressed with the professional way in which he approached the project. He treated us with respect and courtesy, listened to our ideas of what we wanted and explained very clearly what he would be able to do to achieve the result we wanted. He also was able to come up with great ideas in the areas which we had not planned.

The website that he has come up with has exceeded our expectations, it is clear, inviting, and also retains the “flavour” that we wanted; rural, helpful, service.

Craig also listened well to some other issues that we have, the main one being that we, like a lot of our customers in rural areas, are unable to get Broadband, so have to work within the confines of slow Dial-up internet connections. He has designed the site so that there is a Dial-up version which does not take so long to load as the full one. He has also worked on the way that we will load data into the website, making it as suitable for dial-up as he can.

Overall, we were impressed with his professional attitude, his reliability and his keeping to deadlines. He also consulted us and kept us informed regularly, and explained things in terms that we could understand with our limited computer knowledge.

We look forward to being able to “go live” with the web site, and we are sure that it will improve our business and our income.

We will certainly recommend Craig to others in need of web sites.
