My Goals as a Web Developer
Web design is perfect for me as it allows me to explore both the logical and creative sides of my intellect. I've done 3 Semesters of C++ and Java at AUT along side designing a lot of posters for music events. Both these experiences guided me towards a career in web design.
I'm no slouch when it comes to design and I enjoy it, but personally I rank functionality over beauty. This year I've been focusing my efforts on furthering my programmatically skills. I've been excited to explore the Object Oriented sides of both Flash and PHP to extend on what I learned at AUT.

I Wish I Hadnt
Duration: 4 weeks
This was a project that I managed and single handedly coded for Aim Proximity. It was sponsored by Air New Zealand and is a charity site for the Make a Wish Foundation. It the technologies it integrated were a text message gateway, twitter feed, facebook connect, a youtube playist and a credit card payment gateway. It was built using Javascript, JQuery, PHP, Ajax and of course HTML. Although the project didnt take the web by storm, i learnt a lot.
